On Wednesday, Apple released iOS 6, the latest update to their mobile operating system, which will be available to most iDevices, and will ship standard on the new iPhone 5. With its release, iOS 6 dropped Google Maps integration, favoring instead Apple’s own proprietary Maps app. Apple Maps features turn-by-turn navigation, real-time traffic reports, 3D mapping, and local search with Siri integration.
On Thursday, April 26, 2012, Facebook will be changing the dimensions of the profile picture for the new timeline for business. The new profile picture will be 160 x 160 pixels, and will sit 23 pixels from the left and 210 pixels from the top of the timeline page. If you’re timeline design includes a tightly integrated cover photo and profile picture, be sure to be ready!
